If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel please make an appointment with the practice nurse AT LEAST 8 WEEKS prior to travelling. This will allow the nurse to assess which countries and areas you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required. It will also allow time to order any vaccines that may be required and administer these at a time that will provide maximum protection during your travels.
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below:
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
Travel Health Questionnaire
To help us offer the appropriate advice, please fill out the online form and return to us at least 8 weeks prior to travel.
Once we have received the completed form the nurse will review it and communicate if you will need vaccinations and which vaccinations are recommended.
If you are travelling at short notice i.e. in less than 8 weeks, please attend a Private travel clinic.
